Who We Are
Fashion For All is a national non-profit that offers women living in low-income communities, in twelve major cities across the country, a day of dignified shopping and access to community-based organizations, which provide educational, career, health, wellness, and parenting resources. Starting with a clothing drive supported by individual and corporate donors, prominent beauty and fashion brands, as well as partnerships and alliances with women-centered social service organizations, Fashion For All is able to provide a unique experience for disadvantaged women. Twice a year, residents in low-income communities visit a ‘pop-up’ store created specifically for them, where they can shop and connect with local and national non-profit organizations. From acquiring a work suit to registering for parenting classes and continuing education, Fashion For All aims to provide women with the resources they need to embark on personal and professional growth.
Fashion For All seeks to arm disadvantaged women with the tools and resources they need in order for them to achieve personal and professional growth. On an ongoing basis, Fashion For All will connect women with local community groups and national organizations that offer parenting, educational, health, wellness, personal and professional developmental resources.
Fashion For All is the brainchild of accomplished writer and Brooklyn native, Felicia C. Sullivan. Her volunteer service providing “white glove” meal service for homeless and struggling families brought to life that the manner in which something is given is as important as what is provided. After witnessing first hand the impact of leveraging a community of volunteers to meet pressing community needs, Felicia was inspired to replicate this formula to give back to the community in which she grew up.
